Treasure Fest
The fifth annual Treasure Fest, where you can meet world famous treasure diver, Carl Fismer and witness artifacts hundreds of years old all under one roof, is going to be held on Saturday and Sunday March 24th and 25th. The event will take place at De Paula Jewelers, MM 91.2, in Tavernier, the Upper Florida Keys.
Carl Fismer will be at DePaulas telling stories of adventure and pirates. Capt. Carl "Fizz" Fismer is a leading authority on treasure salvage. He has worked over 300 shipwrecks. All who attend will have the privilege of speaking with this living legend and ask questions as they wish, about their exploits and the artifact.
Some of the artifacts that will be on display include a large working bell from the Dutch East India Company. One of only 3 coin clumps in the world, from the Taj Mahal Wreck, will be on display. Old swords, plates, pottery & more will also be on display.
Sunken treasure will be on display. Many coins will be available for purchase. The coins have a 14k gold bezel and make unique pendants, earrings, bracelets or rings.
As a treat to all kids from 0 to 102, fan favorite, MN Jack Sparrow will be attending and causing a lot of fun and mischief for all.
The event is FREE to attend.
